- Sulemani Mutton Karahi Recipe
- Ingredients:
- Mutton 1 kg
- Ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Cumin seeds (crushed) 1 tbsp
- Black pepper (crushed) 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice 3 tbsp
- Coriander seeds (crushed) 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 6-7 (sliced)
- Ginger julienne for garnish
- Green coriander for garnish
- Directions:
- In a pot add one tablespoon of oil, add ginger paste, and sauté it for a minute.
- Add mutton, three cups of water then cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until its 80% done.
- Take off the meat and save the stock for late use.
- In a karahi add oil then add green chilies and fry it for a minute. Take out half of the chilies.
- In the other half add garlic and sauté for a minute.
- Add meat, stock, salt, cumin, black pepper, lemon juice, coriander seeds and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on high flame for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Lastly add yogurt and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes until water dries out.
- Garnish with ginger, coriander and fried green chilies.
- Your delicious and simple sulemani karahi is ready to serve.
