Aloo Bhindi Recipe
Ingredients:
Okra 1 kg
Potatoes 1 kg
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander seeds 1/2 tbsp
Red chili powder 1/2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Onion (sliced) 2 cups
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/4 tsp
Directions:
1. Take okras and cut them from edges.
2. Take potatoes, peel and cut then into thin wedges shape.
3. Then deep fry okra for 5 to 6 minutes. Set aside.
4. Shallow fry potatoes in oil for 5 to 6 minutes as well. Set aside.
5. In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds and cook it for a minute. Then add onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until translucent. Then add ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
6. Now add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander seeds, salt and mix it well. Add fried okra, potatoes, lemon juice and garam masala as well. Cook them for 3 to 4 minutes.
7. Your delicious aloo bhindi is ready to serve.
Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
Cooking time: 25-30 minutes
